Isokinetic sampling probe EN13284-1
The CDL-Tecora isokinetic sampling probe is designed to measure dust and particle concentrations in industrial ducts according to the main international reference methods. Compatible with the requirements of EN 13284-1, ISO 9096 and US EPA Method 17, it allows to carry out reliable measurement campaigns as part of the control of atmospheric emissions.
Its modular design facilitates adaptation to different chimney configurations while ensuring compliance with the necessary conditions for representative sampling.
Measuring dust in a chimney with optimal precision
Isokinetic sampling consists of collecting the particles at a speed identical to that of the gas stream in order to avoid overestimating or underestimating the measured concentrations.
Thanks to its studied geometry and its compatibility with regulatory measuring equipment, this probe contributes to the quality of environmental monitoring campaigns and regulatory controls.
Configuration adaptable to all industrial installations
Modular assembly by 1 meter extensions
The probe consists of an end part that can be connected to several extension tubes. This architecture makes it easy to adjust the total length depending on the diameter of the pipe or the position of the measuring points.
The 1-meter extension cords also simplify transport and storage of equipment.
Version with vertical filter holder
The angled configuration at 90° allows the filter holder to be positioned parallel to the flow of fumes. This design limits the necessary rinsing volumes and improves the quality of measurements when PM concentrations are low.
Version with horizontal filter holder
The straight configuration facilitates handling on small diameter conduits while reducing the risk of sample loss during system disassembly.
Compatibility with in-situ sampling equipment
The probe is compatible with a wide range of accessories used in atmospheric emission measurement applications:
- 47 mm filter holder,
- impactors,
- dust sampling systems,
- Pitot tubes,
- isokinetic nozzles,
- environmental monitoring equipment.
This compatibility meets the needs of many regulatory measurement methods.
Robust design for industrial environments
Made of AISI 316 stainless steel or titanium depending on the application, the probe withstands conditions encountered in demanding industrial processes.
The materials used guarantee excellent mechanical and chemical resistance during measurement campaigns on combustion plants, energy recovery units or industrial processes subject to environmental control.
